Meet the breeder

I'm Dawn, the breeder behind Wildrose Working Belgians located in Wisconsin. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and athletic structure, with a focus on dogs that are driven to work.

Q. & A. with Dawn

  • Why did you start breeding?

When my mom was in a nursing home 15 years ago, I watched a working Belgian search for a patient who had wandered away from the facility. I knew then that I wanted to produce the type of dog that could do this meaningful work.
  • What makes your program special?

We breed performance dogs for SAR and sports such as IPO, Mondio, obedience, or agility. Our puppies are are active and athletic, and not suitable for pet homes. Although our dogs are bred for high performance, their health and wellness come first. We look forward to connecting you with your next working partner.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
