I'm Betsy C., the breeder behind Wildwood Champion Miniature Dachshunds located in San Mateo, CA. We are AKC Breeders of Merit and Breeders with Heart breeding champion lines miniature dachshunds. We have outstanding puppies with wonderful temperaments that thrive in homes and as our winners. We breed all colors and are proud of our socialized dogs. We train dogs, including service dogs.

    AKC Breeders of Merit. AKC Breeders with Heart. Betsy breeds Miniature Dachshunds from AKC show champion bloodlines, with health certificates. She has a lifetime return policy and offers free lifetime training support from an experienced trainer. Johanna is a breeder/handler of multiple AKC champions, and is an accomplished international AKC show judge.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and wirehaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable, piebald, red, wild boar, brindle, wheaten, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Betsy

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Betsy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and between $3,800 - $5,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
