I'm Jimelle W., the breeder behind Wilson Kennel located in Albemarle, NC. We offer adorable, healthy puppies. They are hand-raised in our family home until they are ready to join yours! We are very hands-on with our puppies and give them plenty of unconditional love and attention - each is born in a loving, clean environment.   • Why did you start breeding?

    We started to have a shorkies puppies we have male shihtzu and a female Yorkie it was unexpect puppies that we fall in love with the cuteness and the sweetness till we decide to get another pure shihtzu’s and we started to breed pure shihtzu’s and a mix breed of shorkies❤️

  • What makes your program special?

    We take good care of our babies like a real family they lived with us indoor we make sure there’s health is always good we love them like our own kids

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Shorkie puppies include white and black and tan. Shih Tzu puppies include red, black gold and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Jimelle

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    We were heartbroken over the loss of our beloved Shorkie so we began the search for another Shorkie to love and fill our home with joy again. Our search brought us to Good Dog and Jimelle, Wilson Kennel. She was so willing to do Facetime, answer questions, and was patient with us in making the important decision of choosing the right puppy. We chose Sadie (previously Pernicious).
