I'm Emily V., the breeder behind Winchester Hills Poodles and Doodles located in St. George, UT. Our work begins long before our puppies are born. We put our hearts into the health and happiness of every dog & puppy. From healthy parents come healthy pups, raised in our home with love and care. Each of our dogs is part of our family - and we love sharing that joy with others.

Why did you start breeding?
After I received Zoey (poodle) and Ava’s (goldendoodle) genetic test results I started studying health, trait, color/ coat and temperament. I was fascinated by the different color calculators. I ordered the BAB book and started learning. I was listening to every podcast, webinar, & YouTube video I could find. It didn’t take long before I was seeking out other breeders to learn everything I could.What makes your program special?
Before I purchased my females I researched breeders to find people I could trust. I wanted the confidence in knowing my dogs came from long healthy lines of amazing dogs, & that they received the best start with top-notch breeders. It’s now my job to carry on what the great breeders before me started. Our Pups start curriculum during week 1, including ENS/ESI. Start potty /crate intro at week 4.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Goldendoodle puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Poodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, and red. Maltipoo puppies include parti, apricot, cream, red, white, phantom, black & tan tri-color, and black & tan. Poodle puppies include apricot, black, cream, red, parti, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,600 - $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Litter update on 05 Nov. •…🐾 Over the past 5 years, with the help of our precious mamas, Winchester Hills Poodles & Doodles has placed 41 puppies in amazing, loving homes! 🏡✨ Our first official mamas, Ava & Zoey, have been such a huge part of our journey. They’ve brought so much joy to families - and to us! 💕 As they near retirement (each may have one more litter 🤞), we’re feeling so grateful for all the memories and beautiful puppies they’ve given us. We’re also so excited for our next generation of mamas, who will both be having their first litters this November! 🎉 After completing health testing and pairing them with just the right studs, we can’t wait to meet their sweet babies - and the new families who will soon join the WHPD family. 🐶💗 Meeting so many incredible people through this journey has truly been a gift. Program update on 08 Oct. •…🎉🐩 It’s my pretty girl’s birthday today! Zoey-our precious mama-is 5! I can’t believe it. It feels like just yesterday I decided I was getting myself a birthday gift, and this was the year! I searched high and low for the perfect girl and picked her up the second week of December in 2020. Zoey has been the best dog - so easy to train, such a loving mama, and she’s brought so much joy to the families who’ve adopted her puppies. She’s an AKC poodle with the easiest coat ever (I swear I’m not exaggerating!) and her beautiful black coat has never faded-it just gets prettier every year. This little mama runs the show around here. She wants to be everybody’s mama and keeps all her dog mates in line. My boys are grown, but she still keeps them in check too. 😆 Nobody’s sneaking a girl in without me knowing -Zoey makes sure of it! My oldest always jokes, “If Zoey were human, she’d be you, Mom.” Haha! I love her so much-she’s truly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. 💕 I hope we have many, many more happy years together. Everyone deserves a girl like Zoey. 🖤

About Ava
Ava is most lovable dog I’ve ever been around. She’s been a great emotional support companion to my son who suffers with anxiety. Ava sounds like a big mean protector letting us know when someone is on our 2.5 acre property. (This has brought a huge sense of relief and safety to me as a single women) but she’s a big teddy bear and wouldn’t hurt a fly! She’s so smart! Ava has learned how to open doors with handles! So she just lets herself in and out of the back door lol! We are working on teaching her to close the door behind her! Ha Ha She’s brought more joy to our home than I ever thought possible. Another Plus about Ava -she has a great coat (easy to manage) and hardly sheds at all! I groom my dogs and knew when getting an F1 their was a chance for shedding. I have been extremely blessed!

About Zoey
Zoey is a black mini AKC Poodle. From the first day we brought Zoey home we were in love with her. Zoey is so smart! She comes from a line of service dogs. She is the care taker in our home! Lol - I think she instinctively wants to take care of everyone and is very aware of everything going on in our home. Zoey has been the best mom to her babies, she has made my job so easy! Our other female had puppies 2 weeks after Zoey and Zoey was heartbroken she wasn’t going to get to be the mom to the other dogs pups too! I think she would have gladly taken on 6 more puppies. Anyone who gets one of Zoey’s puppies will be extremely lucky!

+4We have had our puppy Violet (Armani) for over a year now, and she is truly the best puppy we could have asked for. The process of adopting her was made easy with Emily’s excellent communication and frequent updates on our puppy. Emily met us at the airport, and the trip back home was easy with no accidents. Since then, we’ve learned Violet is very sweet and loves every cat, dog, or person we meet. She is a quick learner and not afraid of anything.
