I'm Makayla S., the breeder behind Winchester Kennels located in Kings County, CA. I offer top-quality Lab Retriever puppies for families who share the same love and passion that I do for these lovely companions. I am a small breeder which allows me to give each of my puppies, dogs, and breedings the proper care and attention they each deserve. I am dedicated to providing happy, healthy, and well-socialized pups for others to welcome into their family. I love my pups and know you will love them, too!

Why did you start breeding?
My love for Labs inspired me to share this amazing breed with the world in a responsible way. It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others.What makes your program special?
My breeding program stands out amongst others because of the personal attention I give to every detail of the journey. All dogs deserve nothing less than to be cherished, spoiled, and pampered, so I strive to place all my puppies in homes where they will be loved as family members.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Labrador Retriever puppies include black and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Makayla
Makayla has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Price can fluctuate depending on if you want breeding rights limited or full registration as well as gender. Price includes age appropriate vaccines, dewormer, vet certificate, microchip, paperwork for all vetting, registration information if necessary. Deposit can be refunded on a case by case basis. But typically they are non refundable. Examples of why a refund can become refundable: - The adoptive family is subject to a natural disaster and can no longer be a suitable home. - The adoptive family has suffered a loss in their immediate family. Other situations may arise where you can not get a puppy and we fully understand! Please reach out if you have any issues we can work threw them together and if needed we can discuss refunding the deposit.”
Contract & health guarantee
Makayla may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
