I'm Elaine N., the breeder behind Windmark Collies located in Los Lunas, NM. We focus on intentional breeding so that we can produce quality puppies that are excellent representations of the standard. Our goal is to ensure every dog that comes from our program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves our care. We provide each of our pups with lots of socialization and love, and we are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding policies.

Why did you start breeding?
Raising collies and training dogs was something I wanted to do since childhood.What makes your program special?
Breeding only occasionally for health, temperament, suitability matched to each home. Four decades of experience in breeding, training, and all aspects of dog husbandry.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Elaine
Elaine has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Price includes shots appropriate for age of dog, pedigree, vet exam, health guarantee and microchip. Usually non refundable. Certain exceptions may apply at breeder's discretion.”
Contract & health guarantee
Elaine may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Dermatomyositis, PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 2 (rcd2), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
