I'm Elaine N., the breeder behind Windmark Collies located in Los Lunas, NM. We focus on intentional breeding so that we can produce quality puppies that are excellent representations of the standard. Our goal is to ensure every dog that comes from our program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves our care. We provide each of our pups with lots of socialization and love, and we are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding policies.

Why did you start breeding?
Raising collies and training dogs was something I wanted to do since childhood.What makes your program special?
Breeding only occasionally for health, temperament, suitability matched to each home. Four decades of experience in breeding, training, and all aspects of dog husbandry.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Dermatomyositis, PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 2 (rcd2), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
