I'm Vickie W., the breeder behind Windsong Shelties located in Yavapai County, AZ. I produce pups that will continue to excel in their chosen field, whether that be working, showing, or as an active companion. I breed to the Shelties standards, and it is my goal to better the breed. I have high expectations for my puppies and make sure to place each one with an enriching and loving family that will match their temperament and personality!
Q. & A. with Vickie
Why did you start breeding?
I have been breeding for over 30 years which has given me much experience, practice, and knowledge on the breed. It is important to me that I not only continue my own phenomenal bloodlines, but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come.
What makes your program special?
I do not breed my dogs unless they are health and genetically tested. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are white and sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
