I'm Elizabeth C., the breeder behind Windswept Kennel Miniature Poodles located in Lancaster, SC. We are dedicated to preserving & protecting the historic Miniature Poodle breed and preventing it from becoming extinct. We focus on quality, health, and the physical/mental well-being of our dogs! We breed in order to protect the poodle's wonderful versatility, intelligence & willingness to please. It's our goal to pass these traits down to future generations. Our dogs excel in conformation, performance events, beloved companions, & your best friend!

Why did you start breeding?
I joined a poodle club & quickly learned about showing and breeding this versatile & remarkable breed. I had many mentors who taught me how to do the show trims & all about breeding poodles.
What makes your program special?
All puppies are home raised using our 12 Step Puppy Socialization/Conditioning Program. Puppies are Vet checked at 6 wks, dewormed every 2 weeks & properly vaccinated. Tails are docked according to Poodle Club of America guidelines & declaws removed. Puppies are microchipped & parents are genetic tested, OFA hips, Patellas and Cerf for eyes. What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, brown, parti, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Elizabeth

Elizabeth has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,800 - $2,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes guarantees, utd vaccinations, deworming, microchipped, Sales Agreement, Registration form, New Puppy Guide, Health Record, collar, leash, food, toys & blanket. All puppies are the same price, regardless of color or sex.”

Contract & health guarantee

Elizabeth may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
