Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding miniature dachshunds. My parents died 7 months apart. That is when we purchased our first miniature dachshund. She was/is amazing. I felt my parents talked through her. She was/is so intelligent, my best friend, my therapy! September 2021 we decided to get our 1st Standard Poodle as I have always wanted one. We are so looking forward to this expansion of our business!What makes your program special?
We give everything we have into our breeding program. We love these dogs as our children. They share our, furniture, our bed, our blankets and they definitely have our hearts. I am always reading, googling and talking to other knowledgeable breeders about the breed to learn more. I am currently enrolled in online dog training classes.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,800 - $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

+5Leslie sent me updates and many pictures before my puppy went home with me, as well as sharing helpful tips about dachshunds that I was not aware of. You can tell she is very knowledgeable and truly cares about her dogs! She met me halfway when I picked up my puppy Bonnie, which was very helpful in my busy schedule. When I picked her up, Leslie sent me home with my vaccination letter, puppy pads, some food, toys, and a leash. I was not expecting it, but it was a great surprise. Bonnie was already potty trained on the puppy pads, which has made transitioning to potty training outside smooth (as much as it can get with dachshunds.) Overall I had a great experience, and I would definitely recommend choosing a puppy from Leslie. How could you resist a face this cute?!

Leslie Wingert was wonderful. She FaceTimed with me. The first time I laid my eyes on Penny Lane I knew I had a lifetime partner. Leslie made it very easy for me during the wait and pickup.
