  • Why did you start breeding?

We got into dog breeding because of our deep love and respect for the Mini Australian Shepherd breed. It started with our own dog El, her loyalty, intelligence and sweet temperament inspired us to learn more. Over time, we became passionate about preserving these qualities and helping others experience the joy of having a well bred, loving companion.

Getting a puppy from Teresa

Teresa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Teresa partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“My Matching and Placement Policy: Our primary goal is to ensure that every puppy goes to a home where they will thrive. Because of this, we match puppies based on temperament and structural suitability first, rather than a first-come, first-served basis or looks alone. Evaluation Period: We evaluate our puppies' structural development and temperaments between 7 and 8 weeks of age. This window gives us the clearest picture of each puppy's energy levels, confidence, and natural disposition. Process Buyer Input: We take your lifestyle, family dynamic, and preferences (such as gender or color) into deep consideration based on your application and phone interview. Final Selection: We use our evaluation data to match the right puppy to the right family. If multiple puppies are an excellent fit for your home, we will involve you in choosing between those specific options.”
