I'm Jeanne C., the breeder behind WoodDuck located in Berlin, NH. My hope is that I produce puppies that are sound of mind and body. Breeding healthy dogs is very important to me. These are family dogs. There is the occasional bright star that might become a show dog. Good temperament is of the utmost importance to me.
Q. & A. with Jeanne
Why did you start breeding?
I was encouraged by the breeder of my first Labrador. She saw the potential within me and the rest is history.
What makes your program special?
I am small and only breed once a year. I can give individual attention to the puppies I produce. I want to produce a puppy from a litter that I will be proud to see in the show ring. I continue to work with my mentor.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
