Meet the breeder

I'm Alicia J., the breeder behind Woodland Doxies located in Granger, IN. Welcome! Our Mission is empowering puppies, caring for every paw print, and unleashing joy every puppy at a time. Our puppies are raised in a loving home with children. We breed for health and temperament. Our breeding pair have been DNA tested to ensure the best health possible for their puppies. We take great pride in our puppy program by starting early neurological stimulation exercises and early scent introduction day 3-16. Each week has weekly goals for socializing, handling exercises, and exposure exercises. Crate training starts at 7 weeks. Weeks 6-8 are when puppies learn their "puppy manners"...a crucial time where their mother and litter mates teach them they can't bite too hard while playing! We will keep them through this time to ensure our new families have the best start on their journey together!

Alicia was amazing to work with from the minute I reached out. She not only guided me through the process of using the app but also kept me extremely updated on our baby. I received so many pictures and updates which I looked forward to each week. Once we chose the name Stella she started using that name for us. She answered all of my questions- and there were A LOT! She sent pictures of products that she uses and trusts but always let me know this is not what I needed to do. Pick up was flexible, easy and exciting! Alicia gave me a huge bag of products to accompany Stella. She gave me so much information and I could tell how loved this puppy has been for her first 8 weeks. Our first few days with Stella have cemented that she is a beautiful, healthy and just the sweetest puppy! She is doing great crate training and potty training- she had a great foundation. I would recommend Alicia to everyone. If I ever get another puppy it will be from her❤️

Alicia was wonderful. She was flexible with pick up, and made herself available for any questions or concerns. When we brought home our precious Teak, it was obvious that he had been both well-loved and that he well-cared for.

I fell in love with her picture on the website. Alicia posted pictures so I could see her growth progress. My excitement to bring her home grew with each picture. I could tell how much love and care Kira was given by her whole family. Having that kind of loving environment from birth really makes a difference. I knew then I was lucky to have picked a great breeder. When I picked her up at 2 months old, I saw how much Alicia cared, along with her son. The ride home had Kira resting on my neck and shoulders. She just loved to snuggle from the first moment I held her. It's been 4 months since I've brought her home. Each day she makes me smile especially when zooms around the house. Everyone that meets her falls in love with her just as much as I do.

Our experience with Alicia exceeded our expectations! You can tell she puts her heart and soul into her dogs and it really shows! Birdie (formerly Magnolia) is seriously the best little lady with the best temperament, she’s super smart and loves to snuggle. We are over the moon in love and couldn’t have asked for a better breeder, thank you Alicia!
