I'm Rachel S., the breeder behind Woodwind Miniatures located in Grants Pass, OR. We are a mother-daughter duo offering well-tempered, health-tested Poodle, Doodle, and Aussie puppies for loving forever homes. Our program is built with love, care, and intention from the ground up. We care deeply about responsible breeding, and we do everything we can to ensure our dogs and puppies are getting the best care in every aspect of their lives with us. They are happy, intelligent, and cute as can be!

Why did you start breeding?
Because of our dedication to both the physical and mental health of these incredible dogs, we breed to pass these traits down to future generations. Poodles, Doodles, and Aussies are incredible breeds, and we decided to start our breeding program in order to preserve the wonderful qualities we found in our dogs. Every litter is always a little different, but it is so fulfilling to see the different personalities and such a joy and challenge to hand-raise each puppy. We love watching them blossom!What makes your program special?
We hold ourselves to the highest standard when it comes to our dogs and my policies. We are thorough in health testing and caring for our dogs, and we make sure each puppy gets the proper group and individual care that it needs to thrive. Our goal is to ensure that every dog that comes from our program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves our care. We look forward to helping you find the puppy of your dreams!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Aussiedoodle puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

+5We have had the BEST experience with Rachel and Woodwind Miniatures. Communication throughout the entire process has been outstanding. We live in a neighboring state and Rachel agreed to meet me at about the halfway point. She showed up with a generous care package that included puppy pee pads, starter food with a probiotic- multiple days worth, a blanket with mom and sibling smells on it, poop bags, hand wipes, and so much more. It was not expected, but very much appreciated. We have had our puppy, Blue, for about six months now. I cannot speak enough about the quality of dog he is. He was a very confident puppy from the start. That tells me he received a lot of love and activity under Rachel‘s care. He did not experience any separation anxiety and was very much prepared for life away from his mom and siblings. Blue is highly intelligent and super loving which has made training him a dream. Blue is the sweetest pup and lights up a room when he walks in. I would absolutely recommend Rachel and Woodwind Miniatures if you are looking for a quality dog and experience. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great communication with Rachel. She even followed up the next day to see how my first night went. Alfie is doing great. He is crated at night and generally sleeps until 4:30 or 5:00am. He’s not so fond of the crate during the day when I have to leave (we’re working on it). I think the fact that he was with his mom and siblings for almost 12 weeks really helped. He’s such a sweet boy. Very happy with breeder and pup.
