  • What makes your program special?

    What makes my breeding program special is that I do this full time as a stay at home mom, allowing me to focus all of my time on my dogs and puppies 🤍 I am a dog owner first and raise puppies the same way I would want my own raised, with care intention and love 🐾 My goal is to raise confident puppies because a confident puppy grows into a great companion ✨

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, red, chocolate, brindle, chocolate and tan, black and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Karen

Karen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Karen partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Please note: Good Dog may apply an additional 6.5% advertising fee to deposits and puppy payments when a buyer finds us through the Good Dog marketplace. If you discovered Wooofyland through Instagram, Facebook, our website, or a personal referral, please let us know before placing a deposit. In many cases, we can provide a referral link that allows you to complete your payment through Good Dog without this additional fee, provided Good Dog was not the source of the initial connection.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,000 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“•AKC registered (limited) •2 rounds of vaccines (6 & 8 weeks DAPPv) administered at a vet clinic •Deworming starting at 2 weeks old •Vet evaluation •Microchipped with prepaid lifetime enrollment. $500 non refundable reservation fee required to reserve a puppy. Once received the puppy is taken off the market and the fee is applied toward the total price at pickup.”

Karen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Wooofyland LLC reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Dachshunds.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Profile, Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Generalized

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Karen was an absolute joy to work with. She was always very responsive - answering any and all of the questions I had about the breed, her litter's temperament, and her overall approach.
