Meet the breeder

I'm Hailey W., the breeder behind Wrightway Wigglebutts located in Dowagiac, MI. A small in-home program of AKC/ASDR Australian Shepherds and AKC Miniature American Shepherds dedicated to preserving this wonderful breed. I strive to make sure every owner has the ability to get the very best out of their puppy. All puppies come up to date on vaccines and are seen by our veterinarian twice before leaving for homes at 8 weeks old. They come microchipped, 30 day free pet insurance, contract in place, and 1 year genetic health guarantee.

Q. & A. with Hailey

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding when I was 20 and in college. We wanted to raise a litter of pups from my first Mini Aussie. From there my love and passion grew into wanting to become a breeder dedicated to producing quality structure, stable minded and healthy pups to others.
  • What makes your program special?

My program is special because of the time it has taken me to get where I am. My program started on the basis of breeding my female who was named after a special girl whose organs were donated. My father received her kidney. We bred this female in a gesture to bring a healthy happy pup to the family of the young girl whose organs were donated.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blue merle, red merle, red, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
