I'm Amber Rose M., the breeder behind Wyldrose Australian Shepherds located in Decatur, TX. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall companions and family members. We treat our dogs and puppies like family, and we give every puppy all the loving care that we can to prepare them for their forever homes.

Why did you start breeding?
I began with Pembrokes in 1998 but have always had an Aussie as a companion, which finally led to my dream of raising them and now they are my sole focus.What makes your program special?
I have a small program focusing on quality of life, having happy dogs and along the way insuring proper health tests to raise the most sound companions possible. Temperaments are crucial, we only have the best dispositions possible in our dogs to make sure they’re producing easy going, sweet and friendly pups.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

About Palmer
Palmer is a bred and born Wyldrose Aussie and we are very proud of her. You will not meet a more sweet or gentle girl. 40 pounds and 18.5” tall. Her health testing is perfect with a clear Aussie panel and excellent hips, normal elbows and eyes per OFA. Annie is her dam and our foundation.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), DNA Disease Panel, Chondrodystrophy and IVDD Risk (CDDY-IVDD)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
