Wyndower Cardigans

Jessi T.

Breeder of Cardigan Welsh Corgis

Meet the breeder

I'm Jessi T., the breeder behind Wyndower Cardigans located in Hempstead, TX. I’m newer to breeding, compared to most who breed and show, but have gained some amazing mentors in the breed who have helped me learn quickly. We focus on breeding good structure, health and temperament, so all of our families get their perfect puppy.

Q. & A. with Jessi

  • Why did you start breeding?

I had family members who bred dogs, and loved spending time with the puppies before they headed home. After watching him hand some over to their new families, I loved watching people fall in love with their new family members. To this day, it is still one of my favorite parts of breeding dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

I think, to say my program is special, is selling other breeders short. I’m still new to breeding and showing, and learning all I can, but it will be some time before I have as much acclaim to my name as others in the breed. I like to think of myself as the next generation of breeders within this breed, and within the sport of breeding dogs as a whole.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
