I'm Jessica G., the breeder behind Wynnewood Kennels located in Greensboro, NC. My mom and I run a small hobby breeding program in North Carolina. We have owned Cardigan Welsh Corgis for 20 years. As a breeder, our goal is to place each of our puppies in their “forever home.” During the first 6 to 8 weeks of the puppies’ lives, we will be observing and evaluating their physical and personality traits to match the needs of each individual dog to each prospective owner’s lifestyle.

Why did you start breeding?
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Where do your breeding dogs live?

These dogs are already reserved or have gone home.

Wynnewood Kennels reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Cardigan Welsh Corgis.
von Willebrand Disease II (vWD II), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 3 (rcd3)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
