I'm Rebecca F., the breeder behind Wysteria Hill Doxies located in Bryan, OH. Our program is committed to only breeding dogs that we feel are excellent representations of their standard and will make a positive contribution to their breed and to the families who love them. We do not breed our dogs unless they are genetically tested. We are dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training our pups. All pups are raised in our home and we use many factors for their upbringing to help them to be the best pups for you once at your home.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I saw this couple walk by my home with these stunning cream dogs. I ran out to ask them what breed they were. When they said Golden retrievers I was shocked because I had an American golden at that time and had never seen this color before. Then & there I decided one day I was going to retire from doing hair & learn about breeding. That following Spring we got our first girl Annie. Then I was approached about co owning a mini Doxie for breeding. That boy wasn’t able to be bred and several people were interested in mini dachshunds so we started our search for a couple females, Hazel & Olive came about two years after our Golden Annie. That was 8 years ago now. Best decision I ever made. I love what I do and enjoy filling people’s home with the love of a puppy that I’ve raised.

  • What makes your program special?

    My dogs and puppies are considered members of my family, and they get the best care I can possibly provide. My commitment is to provide you with a professional and friendly puppy-buying experience, and that includes always having responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming my puppies. I am very dedicated to what I do and what I aim to achieve as a breeder. I truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, black, chocolate, brindle, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Rebecca

Rebecca has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Also included are a two year congenital health guarantee, a parvo vaccine, several dewormings, socialization, vet visit with health record and a puppy take-home bag filled with lots of goodies for your pup's new life. All pups come from AKC registered parents but are sold as pet only with no papers. If we sell for Showing or Breeding we will include the AKC Registration for an additional fee. If you walk away from a pup that you have made a deposit on for any reason the deposit is non refundable. There are certain circumstances that may come into play which we would discuss if this happened.”

Rebecca may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Rebecca is phenomenal breeder! She os very knowledgeable about the breed, and good breeding practices. You can tell she is passionate about what she does and dedicates an extreme amount of time, effort, love, and care into breeding and raising her puppies. She kept us updated through the whole process, including updated weekly photos. The process of working with her to get our puppy was very smooth. I've been around and/or owned dachshunds most of my life, and the puppy we picked up from her is honestly one of the sweetest I have ever had. Very healthy, spunky, loving, and absolutely stunning.
