Q. & A. with Cheryl
Why did you start breeding?
I adore these dogs and there is no better feeling than watching the joy their new families have adding one of them to their home.
What makes your program special?
I raise my puppies in my home and de-sensitize and socialize them to everything I can possibly think of. My puppies know so much love from humans and other dogs - they are confident and happy in most any situation.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Oakley, mom
Australian Shepherd
About Oakley
OAKLEY RED MEADOW OF TREES - "OAKLEY"
Would life really be complete without a redhead in the aussie mixing bowl? Oakley was one of those that you don’t event know you’re looking for and then she is in front of you and it just was right! She’s a big and uniquely pretty blue eyed girl who came here as a young adult and quickly became part of the pack! No toy is safe from Oakley – poor Johnny has toys since he was a puppy that he lovingly still plays with or did until the wrecking ball that is redheaded Oakley discovered the toy tote! She is exuberant, devoted, always happy enough to contort her body in two to wiggle at me and she is a willing partner in crime to Lasagna! Oakley has become a really good travel companion. I haven’t found a treat yet that she doesn’t like but same as the rest of them, the excitement of going for a pup cup is a favorite for her and if I add in taking her through the car wash with me – her day is complete
Johnny, dad
Australian Shepherd
About Johnny
XA JOHNNY BRAVO – “JOHNNY”
Johnny is our Handsome blue eyed, big black tri boy coming from the prestigious program at Maubach Australian Shepherds (Bill and Cindy Maubach) in Missouri. I waited and I looked a long time for the perfect male for me to start my small program back up with and as importantly to be a cherished part of the family. Johnny was truly “meant to be” here. We call him the Ambassador because he is everything I believe a great Aussie should be – beautiful, smart, loving, playful, devoted, noble one minute and a clown the next! Johnny is the ultimate Toy Boy! He is always ready to chase a ball or catch a frisbee! He’s my traveling buddy just about everywhere I go, including work some days to make sure the office runs smoothly :) His favorite treats are Sunday morning scrambled eggs and a weekly pup cup (okay I admit sometimes multiple pup cups in a week) In just his first 3 litters, he has proven himself to be an exceptional young sire. His puppies are beautiful - big, square and uniform with confident and fun personalities that have lent themselves to becoming the center of their forever human’s families and can we talk about those blue eyes on everyone!
