Meet the breeder

I'm Jennifer N., the breeder behind Xanadu Shelties located in Littleton, CO. Our goal is to produce healthy and beautiful shelties who look like shelties and can do the job they were bred to do. All our dogs compete in Conformation, Herding and Agility some also compete in Obedience.

Q. & A. with Jennifer

  • Why did you start breeding?

Years ago I was at an obedience trial when I saw the lovely CH/OTCH Merrily Steely Dan float across the ring. I set my sights then on showing and breeding dogs. Thought about quitting more then once but it is in my blood.
  • What makes your program special?

We are small, all our puppies are socialized one by one and our adults have almost an acre to run. All our dogs attend training classes and herding lessons regularly. I am truly looking for the all around dog.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
