I'm Dawn Y., the breeder behind Yager Grumble South Texas Pugs located in Victoria, TX. I have always loved Pugs! I mean, who couldn't? Look at those squishy faces! Our puppies are raised with love in our home, and we strive to help each one grow up with confidence so they are ready to thrive with their new families. They are affectionate, intelligent, and cute as can be!
Q. & A. with Dawn
Why did you start breeding?
During my time working with animals, I already had 2 older Pugs at home and decided to take a leap and get an AKC registered Pug puppy. I knew I wanted to start breeding & sharing the wonderful traits of Pugs with others who would love them as I do. With my kids being grown, I became a Realtor & started a whole new chapter in my life. I was then alloted the freedom to start my breeding program.
What makes your program special?
I believe my breeding program is special because to me, dogs are family and are treated as such. All of my Pugs and puppies live indoors, in our home, they even have their own bedroom! A house is not truly a home without a pet in it.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
