I'm Andrea H., the breeder behind Yankee Doodle Puppies located in Leavenworth, IN. We raise our dogs with love in our home. We have high expectations for our pups and strive to pair each one with a loving family. We commit ourselves towards preparing each one of our puppies to thrive in their new homes, and we enjoy working with their new families so that they can raise their beloved companions with confidence!
Q. & A. with Andrea
Why did you start breeding?
My husband Chris and I were always rescue people. Specifically, we rescued Boxers. After we lost our last Boxer girl Bristol, we were so devastated that we thought we would never have another dog, but that didn't last long. We found the Saint Berdoodle breed in our boy Fitz and it has been a whirlwind ever since. Fitz inspired us to share these breeds with as many families as we could.
What makes your program special?
We maintain a private Facebook group only for families with our pups. 99% of the families with our pups are members. This allows us to stay in touch with those families, share stories, and watch our pups grow! We still take questions and phone calls from families that purchased pups from us over 6 years ago. We know where every pup that has left our program is today with confidence!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
