We offer well-tempered, genetically-tested Miniature Australian Shepherds with foundations that nurture curiosity, drive, and obedience. We focus on breeding dogs that have enough working drive and ability to keep up with our lifestyle, but also have amazing temperaments and can quickly adapt to a calm family setting.

    Our puppies include blue merle, red merle, red, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Rachael

Rachael has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $400 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Rachael was so good with the process of taking blu home from start to finish she was very responsive and very knowledgeable about the breed.     Yarborough Kennels helped us find our next family member. We have always wanted a Mini Australian Shepherd and after we lost our 12 year old dog Lilly to Lyme disease a friend referred us to them and said they had one puppy left at that time . Rachel at Yarborough Kennels is wonderful you can tell she loves everyone of those puppies and they are so well taken care of . They give you a bag full of stuff to give you a good start with your puppy. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a Mini Australian Shepherd.
