I'm Yelena D., the breeder behind Yelena Dorokhov located in Bothell, WA. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! Our love for our dogs pushed us to begin breeding. We love to see the results of our efforts in the sweet, happy, and healthy puppies that we’re able to share with others.
Q. & A. with Yelena
Why did you start breeding?
Even though I’ve never pictured myself as a breeder when I was younger, I believe that there are those who are much more responsible and reliable. Personally don’t believe in “accidental” litters. So I personally won’t have males for that purpose . We live on a small farm like setting where I love watching and seeing my both female dogs running around free. Where my kids are involved in many of household chores and other projects we may have. My children are hands on with my dogs and when and if pups come along.
What makes your program special?
We make sure that not only our personal animals get taken care of not only physically, but also emotionally and mentally. I make sure all pups and there mom are always hands on. So they are used to being touched, played and just being around others.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

I’ve picked out the names for the remaining 2 available sisters. That way they start to get used to being called by a name. I’m still learning not to get them mixed up myself 😁

About Molly
Healthy 5 year old. Lives with me, my husband and our four children on our mini farm. I also own a almost 9.5 year old German shepherd. We live on a property that we love and call our own. Have chickens and. Have a garden. Lots of work but we all love it!
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
