I'm Carrie B., the breeder behind Yorkieology located in Jacksonville, FL. We are pet owners first and foremost. All of our puppies are raised as members of our family until they’re ready to join yours. When we got our first dog, we were instantly in love. Since then, we’ve made it our mission to bring happy, healthy puppies into the lives of other families!
Q. & A. with Carrie
Why did you start breeding?
We have a child with severe allergy and knew having a dog was out of the question. Until he came in contact with a Yorkie. No allergies!!! Hooray!!! So we got our first Yorkie with no intention of breeding but everywhere we went someone always asked if we would breed her because they wanted one just like her. We then added our boy to our family but researched and studied and talked to breeders and vets to educate ourselves first. Being responsible breeders is the most important thing for us.
What makes your program special?
We are very hands on. These are our beloved family members and we take extra care to get them ready for their forever home.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
