



I'm Katie & Tom R., the breeder behind Young at Heart Cotons located in State College, PA. Our homebred Cotons are bred for excellent health and temperment. They are raised in our home snd part of our every day lives. We test for all hereditary & congenital diseases and are CHIC certified by the OFA . We are passionate about the breed and protect its dna. We show for confirmation and have currently three champions and a grand champion.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

"Our price includes the guarantee of parents being clear genetically and CHIC certified. It also includes the puppies socialization, vet examination and age appropriate vaccines. We also provide all litter registration paperwork and a three year health guarantee. We provide education and council for the rest of the dogs life. All our deposits are the same price unless we are selling a show quality/breeding Coton."

Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
