I'm Carol & Jared Y., the breeder behind Young Gun Aussies located in Hempstead, TX. Our pups are home-raised with children, cats, chickens, goats and mini cows all in the yard. We put a lot of care into socializing them so they can transition easily into their new lives. We are honored to bring another member of the family into your life!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our first Aussies were so amazing, we invested in a great breeding pair and produced two beautiful litters that are still part of our extended family today. We had so many families requesting Aussies that were a little more "hypoallergenic" that when our Aussie pair retired, we found a stunning Poodle stud and began our journey into Doodles.

  • What makes your program special?

    The testimonies of the families we have met along the way will speak volumes for the quality of our pups. Our dogs are loved and challenged and a special part of our family.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Aussiedoodle puppies are standard size. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Australian Shepherd puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include black tri, blue merle, red merle, and red tri. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Carol & Jared

Carol & Jared has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Carol & Jared partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We truly believe each owner and family needs to know disposition and where the puppies fall in the dominance /submissive scale. A strong dominant pup will easily take advantage of a passive human and all manners and training can be lost in days. We need our pup parents to trust our evaluation of the pups and be honest about training and expectations they have in their homes.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and between $500 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Owners will receive a one year health guarantee, Vet Certificate of health, Puppy bag with blanket, food, and toy. Deposit is refundable before puppies are 4 weeks of age.”

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    OMG! Carol is the sweetest and most caring breeder. I did not have the chance to meet Jared . Carol was quick to respond to me and did not hesitate in sending me photos or videos of our pup. They truly love their pets. They even gave me all the vaccine information and vet visits. We kept in contact with each other until the day we picked up our pup. She worked with us on picking up our pup. The day we picked up our pup he was already partially trained in listening to commands and potty trained. Most of all our pup was full of kisses. If i ever want another pup it would be from her. Carol is truly the sweetest and caring breeder I ever met. She will answer any question you have regarding her puppies.

    Carol and Jared were amazing to work with! We absolutely love our pup Mitty ( Oaks). Everyone that meets him falls in love with his demeaner and love bug ways. Carol worked with Mitty as a puppy and he is so well behaved and gentle. Mitty at 6 months is potty trained, crate trained and we he has mastered all of his commands. He is just fantastic and his stellar breeding shows! The interviews with Carol and Jared were so easy because they are just the kindest people and love what they do! Working with Good Dog made it possible to make payments on a secured platform. Everything about this was as smooth as it could be. We tell everyone that meets Mitty all about Young Gun Aussies!
