All the pups looked great at their vet checkup this morning! They received dewormer and their first set of vaccines! Families, please remember that the parvo/distemper vaccine is a 4-part series. One shot does not provide adequate immunities, so they are still vulnerable to these fatal diseases until the entire series is complete. Please make plans to follow up with your veterinarian to continue the series (every 2-4 weeks), and take precautions to protect your pup in the meantime! Exposure to public spaces will put your pup at risk of contracting these illnesses! Follow the “four off the floor” rule and keep all 4 🐾 off the floor until the full 4 💉 are complete! Counting down to go home day…only 5️⃣ more days! 🏡❤️

Hey, families 👋 This is your puppy’s current diet! We highly recommend you keep your pup on this food for the first month in their new home. Stress-induced digestive upset is not uncommon during the transition period in their new environment away from mom and siblings. Sudden dietary change could exacerbate the issue. Once your puppy has adjusted, you are welcome to gradually transition them to the food of your choice. Your puppy is accustomed to eating twice a day (morning & afternoon/evening). You will follow the guidelines on the bag and feed your puppy according to their current weight, dividing the daily amount into two feeds per day. Let us know if you have any questions!

This is the brand of puppy food your puppy is currently on! We recommend keeping them on this food the first few weeks while they adjust to their new home, to avoid increase in stress-induced digestive upset. After the initial adjustment period, you are welcome to gradually transition to the puppy food of your choice.

Go-home 🏡 day is fast approaching! Here are some important travel 🚙 tips: •Bring a kennel/dog carrier. 🐶 •Bring potty pads. PLEASE do not let your dog out ANYWHERE in public to potty! ❌ They are not fully protected from parvo/distemper and can easily contract these illnesses and die! They are vulnerable, keep them safe! Better a mess in the car than a fatal disease! ☠️ •Bring a roll of paper towels 🧻 . Some dogs, like people, get car sick and vomit. 🤢 You won’t know if yours is that way until you hit the road! If car sickness occurs, holding them on the drive can help. 🥰 Looking forward to meeting you all ❤️

Puppies had a successful vet checkup this morning! Eyes, ears, hearts, lungs, abdomens, genitals all examined and passed inspection! They received their first round of puppy vaccines and began a 5 day deworming medication. For those of you going home this weekend, you will be provided deworming medication to continue daily until gone. The pups will be due for their next dose of vaccines 3-4 weeks from initial dose (June 12-19). It is of utmost importance that you establish with a veterinarian as soon as possible and schedule for their next round of vaccines. One dose does not protect them from deadly diseases like parvovirus and distemper! Please take adequate precautions to prevent until the full series of FOUR doses is complete!

Chelsie was great; she was understanding of a situation where we had to postpone picking up our wonderful Calypso (yes, she is named after the teacher from the kids show lol) and worked with us to ensure everything went smoothly. Once we got Calypso home it was a smooth transition to get her potty trained as Chelsie had already started the process for us and from there it’s just blossomed with training. We are so happy that we found Yucca Blossom Pups and are having to stop ourselves from getting another one (I really wanted Laz and now I really want Dill) but a las that just goes to show how amazing our pup is and how great it was to work with Yucca Blossom Pups and Chelsie. Thank yall so much!

I Was unsure about finding a dog online or even on an app. After doing the research and looking around I came across Yucca blossom pups. Very quick response time and super friendly. I was extremely lucky to find them and be in the same area as me. I would 100% recommend them and will most definitely some time in the near future will get Benny a brother or sister.

Chelsie was great with updates as we awaited our pick up date. The cutest photos and videos! She provided good information as far as transportation, meeting times and locations and puppy care. Juno has been amazing: she is almost totally housebroken after 1 week (?!!) and is easily trainable!
