I'm the breeder behind Zoey's Waggly Tails located in Minden, LA. All puppies get socialized with our kids, handling them daily. We WORK on potty training outside before pups go to their fur-ever homes. Please research the breed or ask questions. It's common ( but not always) for peis to have eyes, ears, and skin problems. All peis need to be socialized.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We brought our first shar pei home. We feel in love with the breed!!! They are so loyal, will follow you to the end of the earth! The love a shar pei gives is like no other!!!

  • What makes your program special?

    All of our dogs/puppies are part of our family. We raise them with love from the start! We are always doing our best to better the breed! We keep you updated on your new family member as you are waiting patiently to bring them home.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include isabella dilute, white, lilac dilute, five point red dilute, fawn sable, fawn, cream sable, cream dilute, brown sable, cream, chocolate dilute, brown, blue sable, blue dilute, blue, black sable, black, and apricot dilute. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Zoey's

Zoey's has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes Akc limited registered ( breeding rights is additional) deworming, eyes tacked if need, 1st set of shots, vet checks, life time breeder support, and lots of love! We ask for a small deposit to hold your puppy of choice until they are ready to go to their forever homes. We give lots of updates and pictures along the way. References available.”

Zoey's may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

    My name is Pamela Wineinger and I was the proud Momma of Venus4. I've rescued Shar Pei's and Ori Pei's from Puppy Mills. Some were blind, deaf and all were abused. Their lives were short but in the end...very happy and loved. I tried to navigate the web but I was at a loss on finding a healthy puppy. I was scammed first and foremost.     Ms. Jamie was wonderful to work with in getting our sweet Shar Pei, Priscilla Scout. She made sure to keep us updated with photos prior to picking her up and pick up was seamless. She had Scout ready to go with food, water, medical records and even her little toy for our ride home. She had Scout checked out prior to pick up, by the vet due to a carpal issue in which she just needed a little calcium, and sent the bottle from the vet home with us. Jamie was transparent and caring. We've even kept in touch with many photos of Scout. I would recommend Zoey's Waggly Tails to ANYONE in search of a wonderful dog to love.

    My experience with Jamie from Zoey’s Waggly Tails was wonderful start to finish. She was very responsive, knowledgeable, and willing to help as much as possible. She sent many pictures and videos of our puppy as well. Our puppy is healthy, smart, and as sweet as can be. He is already 95% housebroken and crate trained. I highly recommend working with Zoey’s if you’re interested in Shar Pei’s.
