I'm Aminah S., the breeder behind Zulas Shih Tzu of Maine located in Augusta, ME. All of our dogs are loved as family members. We cherish our puppies from birth up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! We raise our dogs in our home right alongside our family. We love being able to match our puppies with families that are the perfect fit for their personalities.

Why did you start breeding?
Everywhere I went with my first shih tzu people asked where they could get one or did I breed. I had never considered breeding till then. I had a friend that had been breeding over 25 years and asked her to mentor me and know several years dogs and litters later I couldn’t imagine life without all these pupsWhat makes your program special?
All dogs are akc and health and genetic tested through embark. All dogs are raised in home and sleep in bed with us or dog beds beside us. Hehehe some like their own space. All my adult dogs are home cooked for we order a side of beef couple times a year. All adult dogs have been through good canine citizen.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tricolor, chocolate, black, liver, blue, gold, white, black white and silver, black and white, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC registration one year health, contract puppy deworming, first shots , vet checked beginning potty training lot of socialization and starter kit. Deposit holds your puppy then goes towards the price of your puppy.”
