I'm Brianna L., the breeder behind 4L Doxies located in West Cleo, OK. Our dogs are bred with the best health and temperament in mind! We strive to only produce the best puppies that will be around for a long time and bring all the joy to you and your family.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I was very disappointed in the health, body structure and quality of dachshunds I kept coming in contact with when I was looking to purchase my own as a pet. I decided then I wanted to help improve and help the bred be better and to offer better dachshunds then I had encountered.
  • What makes your program special?

    We are only breed our females 1x a year, always skipping a heat cycle and making sure they are completely healed, rested and in good spirits before re breeding. We also only breed our females 4-5x before spaying and retiring them. We take the health of our breeding stock very serious and care about eating food healthy puppies!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, chocolate, chocolate and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Brianna

Brianna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Brianna partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price of the puppies includes numerous health vet visits, vaccines, microchip, and AKC paperwork. Deposit is to hold the puppy for the buyer and to try to weed out anyone that is not a serious buyer.”

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
