Meet the breeder

I'm Tavaris A., the breeder behind A & A Rottweilers located in Longview, TX. We strive to provide the perfect Rottweiler, using lines from the best dogs in the Rottweiler world. The goal we set and which I believe is still the most important, is to produce healthy puppies that make a well-rounded character in an adult dog. I strive to make sure every owner has the ability to get the very best out of their puppy.

Q. & A. with Tavaris

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew an interest in breeding when I fell in love with the Rottweiler. I purchased my first Rottweiler about 8 years ago, having owned several other breeds. When I encountered the Rottweiler, and its characteristics, I desired to begin breeding as a hobby, to keep animals for myself, but desiring to better the breed, and provide other families with a similar experience.
  • What makes your program special?

As a minister, Christian and disciple of Christ, trustworthiness, honesty, and integrity are key traits that I must possess. Having had dealings with breeders, these traits are oftentimes lacking, or not present at all. When a person deals with A & A Rottweilers, they are dealing with a kennel of integrity. We not only stand behind our dogs, but we must shine the light of Christ.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
