I'm Corina T., the breeder behind Absolute Shiba Inu located in Palm Harbor, FL. Our goal is to create puppies with outstanding temperaments, sound health, and type that exemplifies the AKC breed standard. Our Shibas are shown in conformation and they also participate in performance events such as Fast CAT/CAT, AKC’s Trick Dog, AKC’s Canine Good Citizen, Rally, and Barn Hunt. Q. & A. with Corina
Why did you start breeding?
My mom has shown and bred Akitas my entire life, so it was only natural for me to continue doing the same. I strive to produce outstanding family companions that are superior in health, temperament and make fantastic show prospects.
What makes your program special?
My dogs and puppies are raised to be enrichment seekers. My husband and I both work from home, so a lot of time is spent socializing and training our dogs and puppies. I am always researching to find new socialization techniques. We are very dedicated to what we do and what we are trying to achieve as breeders. We work with passion, heart, and integrity, and we truly want what's best for the Shiba Inu.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
