Meet the breeder

I'm Michelle E., the breeder behind Abundant Life Ranch Border Collies located in Austin, TX. We are dedicated to ensuring that our border collie puppies are given a great start and go to loving homes where they will be engaged and given the work their hearts long for, from herding to agility, being a running partner, therapy dog , service dog or a best friend in an active family.

Q. & A. with Michelle

  • Why did you start breeding?

I love the border collie breed, and I have been mentored by a vet seasoned breeder in Montana. I love helping people find their best furry friend, working and agility dogs and family pets.
  • What makes your program special?

We are a family with lots of children living in a small farm in Texas. We are a very small operation, putting love and care into every puppy and every litter, working hard to ensure the best socialization and the best start for all of our puppies. The puppies are part of the family until they are ready to go to their forever home. We spend tireless hours loving and caring for these pups. We start them on ENS training at day 3, which ensures calm puppies who will be tolerant of nail trims, vet checks, new situations, etc.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and white and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
