Why did you start breeding?
I love dogs, and have been captivated by Standard poodles since I was an early teen when I was introduced to the AKC and dog shows.What makes your program special?
My kennel program is a very small operation. Every puppy is cared for and loved by me and my family, well socialized and will forever have support as needed after leaving. My litters are thoughtfully planned with a purpose in mind.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, blue, cream, silver, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Alisha
Alisha has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Alisha partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

Program update on 29 Mar •We had a really fun day today, evaluating puppies for homes. Setting aside any major issues, it looks like everyone has found homes. We are so proud of this litter as every single puppy was just a solid puppy in body and temperament. We have two show homes and a couple going to homes that might dabble in some agility too. I can't wait to see everyone growing up in their new homes. I also look forward to finding another match for River in the near future. To be added to my wait-list, just let me know. I hope to breed again once more before it is time to retire River from breeding and enjoy some fun in the competition world again. ❤️

Program update on 24 Feb •Even just after everyone had baths we are all a total mess already! We are starting to show interest in the milk replacer we saw mom drinking, and are learning how to drink it from a dish. It can be a bit of a messy process, but we will get it down pat quickly enough!

Program update on 29 Jan •Getting ready to whelp. She is beginning to look a bit uncomfortable now and then. 2/5 is the "official date" one day after my birthday! Very excited, but definitely anxious as this is her first litter.

Program update on 17 Jan •My girl Ariel as You Wish "River" will be expecting puppies beginning of February ready to go in April. More updates to come! She was bred to BISS MBISOH BBE GCHS Kbri Pinafore Achievement Hunter TKN CGC ATT (shown in the full continental show coat) This litter will have mid sized puppies with silver, blue, or cream coats. We are very excited to see what this pair produces. Puppies will be sold to approved companion, performance / sporting, and or show homes. Each puppy will go home with a puppy package and may be registered with the AKC.

River is the perfect size for someone who needs foldable in their life. She is the epitomy of balance, has lovely structure, and the indomitable good humor well known to every poodle lover. Playful with her family, athletic, trainable and adaptive she is a wonderful family companion.

Isfahel Kennels reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Standard Poodles.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
