Q. & A. with Sally
Why did you start breeding?
As I said, I am transitioning from horse breeding. I have cut my herd down to two retired mares who will live out their lives with me. Lula is such a great dog, size wise, ( only 85 pounds) temperament wise (loving, but not cloying and clingy), and trainability wise. She learns things so quickly and is so willing to please.
What makes your program special?
I am not a professional breeder, but I do have a lot of experience in animal health, proper care, and proper socialization of litters. These are not kenneled puppies. The little babies will be allowed the run of the farm and a cozy bed at night, just like the other members of the family. I know that they will be fully ready to join your family when the time comes.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and rust and black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
