Amie's Aussies & Doodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Amie C., the breeder behind Amie's Aussies & Doodles located in Hyrum, UT. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on conformation, athleticism and intelligence. We are dedicated to providing our families with wonderful, healthy family pets.

Q. & A. with Amie

  • Why did you start breeding?

Growing up with a dog or two in the family was a constant in my life. Our family just wasn't complete without them. When I was 12 years old, and the only one home, our pregnant family dog entered active labor. At the time, all I knew to do was make her as comfortable as possible as she brought her first litter of puppies into the world. She was a fantastic, instinctual mother, and I was hooked!
  • What makes your program special?

Not only do we strive for the best health and temperaments in our program, we also do our best to prepare our puppies for being able to experience new things in their lives with ease. To facilitate these results, we use the Badass Breeders Curriculum to guide our puppies through various exposure experiences in varying degrees in a physically, mentally, & emotionally supportive and SAFE environment.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Aussiedoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
