Meet the breeder

I'm Margaret S., the breeder behind AMS Pomeranians and Pomskies in Indiana located in Bremen, IN. We strive to breed the healthiest, most beautiful puppies with exceptional temperaments. We focus on quality over quantity first, and we are very picky about our dogs in our breeding program. We make sure they are all spoiled and well cared for as well as health tested before breeding them.

Q. & A. with Margaret

  • Why did you start breeding?

We got our first breeding pair as puppies and raised them until they were old enough to breed. Our dogs are excellent representations of the breed, and we are proud to continue their line. We breed to both help ensure the future of the breeds we work with and to improve upon our dogs' fantastic traits with each generation.
  • What makes your program special?

We breed only top-of-the-line dogs. Health, temperament, and well-bred dogs are what we aim for. We treasure each puppy in our program and give them all the attention and care that we possibly can. We work hard so our puppies can leave our home with confidence, ready to take on the world with their new family! Delivery options! We now offer to drive 2 hrs one way to meet you personally with your baby! We charge $250 for this service. We also have a ground transporter that can deliver right to your home.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Pomsky puppies include toy, mini, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Pomsky puppies include wolf sable, gray and white, black and white, chocolate, and merle. Pomeranian puppies include blue, tri-colored, chocolate merle, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Margaret was wonderful to work with! She responded quickly and the deposit and payment were made easily through the Good Dog site. Together we arranged a pick up site for Little Maxwell, and she came prepared with food and other goodies he would need. Working with Margaret made the process of adopting our sweet baby such a pleasure.!

Working with Margaret was an absolute pleasure! She is very responsive and will happily answer any questions you have. Our pup Banks (formerly Beans) is everything we ever could have imagined. He brought tears to our eyes. You can truly tell Margaret cares for her pups like they are her own/family. I love that the pups have exposure and play time with children as well. She was also so nice and met me halfway so my drive wasn’t as long. Would use her again in future.

Margaret from AMS Pomeranians and Pomskies in the State of Indiana is very knowledgeable of the Pom breed. I got my Lya-Blu a week ago and she is really smart. We successfully have the house-broken done for the daytime already. She is great with kids, other dogs, and everyone she meets. She is sweet and charming and already has many of the qualifications needed to make a great "Therapy Dog" in the future. I am owner of this breed for many years, and this puppy is very well adjusted for her age. Margaret was wonderful to work with. I live in Pennsylvania, and her puppy Nanny met me part way with a great delivery.

We're so happy to be able to adopt our perfect, handsome, smart, pom baby, Darby (formerly Espresso). Margaret was a pleasure to work with during the entire time--from sending us lots of pictures to instructing us on how to care for our fur baby--all our questions were promptly answered. The transition was extremely smooth--Darby was well-cared for before and after our adoption process. What really sold me on Margaret as a breeder was the fact that she had the pom parents genetically tested and posted the test results on her page. Darby was extremely quick to learn the command "go potty" (on day one!). Its as if Margaret and her family spent most of their time socializing Darby from his birth. I'd have a hard time considering another breeder if we decide to adopt again.

We purchased a Pomsky from Margaret all the way from Cape Cod and the experience was fantastic. Our puppy is healthy, happy, and full of energy! Margaret guided us through the entire process, answered all of our questions, and made everything feel easy and reassuring. She also connected us with a trustworthy transporter who delivered our pup safely. We highly recommend Margaret—she truly cares about her dogs and the families they go to!
