I'm Kalisha B., the breeder behind Ancient Dogges Performance Dogs located in Morrilton, AR. My breeding goal is to produce top quality working dogs. I specialize in providing trained and started puppies, and offer far more training than a typical breeder.

Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved dogs, and puppies, and started breeding when I fell in love with the breed, and wanted to be a part of raising the next generation.What makes your program special?
I not only do all recommended (Plus some) health testing, raise my puppies using a combination of BAB, and PC methods, and spend months, or even years vetting buyers before making any sales, I also send every puppy to it's new home with lots of goodies, and offer life time (Of buyer/myself, not puppy) breeder support, and friendship.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Kalisha
Kalisha has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Kalisha partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

Price
"These prices reflect the parents' health testing, the puppy health guarantee, go home basket, and training (More training equals higher price, of course). Deposits can be transferred to a different puppy, or litter up until your assigned puppy turns 12 weeks old."

Litter update on 11 Dec 2025 •The puppies are growing like crazy! They've started ENS, and ESI yesterday, and are doing fantastic!

Litter update on 05 Dec 2025 •…Fresh bedding, and angry puppies in a pile. 👀👀👀 It took them approximately 1 minute to calm down, and spread out comfortably into a nice, neat little line of sorts, sleeping peacefully. Individual photoshoot coming right up, I swear!

Litter update on 14 Oct 2025 •…Armada has officially been bred, and is due December 4th! We have 4th pick females, and 3rd pick makes available at this time. Armada usually has large litters of 10-12.

Litter update on 14 July 2025 •…We've been having horrible weather, and dealing with damages from the storm, so we are very sorry we haven't ended up getting photos up to date after all! It's *supposed to be* good weather tomorrow, though, so I am planning to do this week's photos tomorrow, outdoors, where it's easier to get great photos. If it ends up being bad weather again anyway, then I will just do indoor photos again tomorrow anyhow. And this time regardless of any red eye issues if I have to use the flash, I will still just update photos, so we aren't ending up with a whole missed week again on accident. 🤦🏼♀️

Ancient Dogges Performance Dogs reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Labrador Retrievers.
Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI), Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Stargardt Disease, Full Embark Panel, D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), DNA Coat/Trait Panel, DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
