Meet the breeder

I'm Jenna&Ronnie, the breeder behind Animal Farm Shiba Inus & Mameshibas located in Clewiston, FL. VOTED BEST PET BREEDER OF 2023 & 2024 IN FLORIDA !!! Our dogs are bred for health and temperament to make the best family pets from inside our home. We have imported our babies from Japan 🇯🇵, South Korea 🇰🇷, Russia 🇷🇺, and Ukraine 🇺🇦. They are never caged or kenneled and are free around my toddlers, cat, and each other and I trust my dogs implicitly. It takes a very special and perfect dog to “make the cut” and live in my home with free rein. They are family members. We strive to provide well-rounded and intelligent family companions and are always improving our puppies while in turn improving the breed. We love our dogs and are deeply passionate about our work! While we don’t breed our dogs specifically to show, they are more than acceptable to breed standards and many are suitable for showing/show quality and AKC registered. They are also eligible for 4H programs for dog events and sports for school events. We have 8 active dogs in our breeding program, and all of them are beloved pets, fully OFA health tested and live with us inside our home!

Q. & A. with Jenna&Ronnie

  • Why did you start breeding?

When seeing the way most breeders keep their dogs in kennels and have very little interaction with their dogs and pups, we vowed there had to be a better way. After falling in love with the shiba breed, we began our journey of bettering them and completing families. We have learned so much since then, and are still learning every day to do better for our dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

These pups are raised in my home with the rest of my “pack”. They are not caged and have access to the yard via a doggy door! Because of this, they are ideal as family pets, have begun potty training to go outside (NOT on puppy pads!), and are exposed to other dogs, our resident cat, chickens, and toddlers. These will be the most socialized and well-adapted pups you’ll ever add to your family!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, red, black and tan, and sesame. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

They were invaluable and provided me with plenty of updates leading up to me taking home a puppy! They also gave me a ton of starting items to get situated with my dog! They even followed up and covered testing after I took him home along with 1 month of vet insurance. Overall a great experience.

I can't recommend these people enough!!! Such a kind, thoughtful breeder sending us updates and videos frequently. We are so pleased and this puppy is just incredible. From the time we picked him up, non stop kisses and belly rubs! They teach them so well while before you get them. Thank you so very much for this new family member!!

We enjoyed working with Jenna & Ronnie. They were very responsive and answered all our questions making us feel confident they were the right choice. We are so happy with our addition to our family. Our Lilo has been an angel and we are so lucky to have her!

We adopted our Grizz a year and a half ago. He was wild yet snuggly, and he has always loved people and other dogs equally. Our vet and groomer say he's the "best Shiba" they've ever interacted with, which has a lot to do with his initial months of life and his parentage. I can't recommend Jenna & Ronnie enough for a wonderful experience and beautiful dog friend!

Oliver is the BEST puppy!! After my husband had his Shiba girl ‘Junie’ after ‘Junie B. Jones’ at 16 years old in February 2022, I decided to surprise him with a pup! His name is ‘Ollie’ because that is Junie’s brother. This pup is so well rounded and friendly! Jenna was so great with the whole process! Gorgeous pup and a great experience!

We had a wonderful experience working with Animal Farm Shibas! Sesame came home with us 1 month ago and she has been the most confident, affectionate, smart, resilient little girl! Before getting Sesame, we made the trip to see Jenna and Ronnie’s home and where they raise the puppies. There were no cages out back, the moms/dad were healthy, happy, and had great temperaments, and the puppies are raised right in their home. Sesame is a product of this great breeding program and it shows. She loves everyone and everything she meets because she was socialized from birth. She is so smart and picks up new training within an afternoon! She sleeps through the night and is already almost potty trained at 12 weeks old!! She’s so silly and is always making us laugh. Jenna was patient, answering all of our questions and she sent us weekly updates! We love Sesame so much and we’re very grateful for Jenna and Ronnie and their breeding program!
