I'm Annalena D., the breeder behind Annie's Puppies located in Cedaredge, CO. All of my breeding dogs have been genetic health screened and are OFA Heart Cert ensuring they meet healthy standards. Finding loving, happy homes for my puppies where they can continue to be cared for and adored is my upmost priority.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have been breeding since 2010 and I absolutely love to be able to provide families with loving companions. My mom was a breeder for 10 years before I graduated and left home so I have lots of years of experience and healthy, happy dogs.

  • What makes your program special?

    All of my puppies are raised in my home until they leave to be with their families. They get played with constantly and well socialized. All of my breeding dogs are OFA heart certified and they have been genetic health tested for Degrative Myelopathy, Dry eye/ Curly Coat, Episodic Falling Syndrome, Progressive Retinal atrophy, and Skeletal Dysplasia

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, tri-color, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Annalena

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,100 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"This price includes a 2 year health guarantee that can be extended to 3 years, Limited AKC registration, delivery 2-4 hours from my location, weekly updated pictures or video, vet exam, first vaccines and socialization. Deposits are non-refundable due to me holding the puppy of your choice from other potential families."

Annalena may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
