Anteiku Shiba Inu

Chelsey W.

Breeder of Shiba Inu

Meet the breeder

I'm Chelsey W., the breeder behind Anteiku Shiba Inu located in Ohio. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!

Q. & A. with Chelsey

  • Why did you start breeding?

It all started when I rescued a Shiba that had been surrendered from a puppy mill operation. This enlightened me to the epidemic caused by mills and backyard breeders, inspiring me to start breed preservation for this beautiful breed.
  • What makes your program special?

With a very small breeding program, we are heavily focused on breed standard, preservation, and training. All of our Shibas live in our home with us and go on many adventures.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
