While our goal is to share loving puppies with families, we are still a selective program. We only breed when we’re sure we can produce the healthiest and best example of the breed possible.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

We absolutely adore our Mini Australian Shepherd puppy, Dezy. She is such a cutie pie, fiercely independent, and smart as a whip. She picks things up so fast and has such a fun little personality. Dezy gets along great with her rescue puppy and kitty brothers, which made the transition so easy. Working with Hannah was such a great experience—she was beyond wonderful and kept us so involved by sending photos and videos of Dezy before it was time to bring her home. It truly made us feel like we were part of Dezy’s life during those first couple of months. She has been the most amazing addition to our family, and we feel so lucky to have her.
