I'm Applewood C., the breeder behind Applewood Cavaliers located in Sacramento, CA. We are dedicated to providing families with wonderful family pets. Puppies are lovingly raised in my home, exposed to new experiences, and socialized daily by my children.

Why did you start breeding?
Cavaliers are the most amazing dogs! They are so gentle and loving with my children, and the perfect family pets. I love being able to connect with families and provide a well-bred/socialized puppy.What makes your program special?
My puppies are socialized and loved on daily by my children. As a stay-at-home mom, I am able to devote 100% of my attention to each litter.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, tri-color, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Applewood
Applewood has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Applewood partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Puppies come with a 1-yr genetic guarantee, AKC limited registration, age-appropriate vaccines administered licensed by a licensed Vet, 2 Veterinary exams, and blanket that smells like home. Puppies are $3,000-4,000 (depending on color/gender). All puppies receive 2 Veterinary exams, age-appropriate vaccines and wormings, AKC limited reg, & 1-yr genetic guarantee.”

Parent health testing
Good level

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
