Q. & A. with Genea

  • Why did you start breeding?

Bought a cocker puppy from a show breeder who helped me get started. Had great mentors.
  • What makes your program special?

Our Cocker breeding program has been successful in the show ring & with the health of our dogs. With our Cockers we have won Best in Shows at all breeds, Specialties, National & many other awards. But I am most proud of the temperaments of my cockers, they are stable, outgoing, and merry. We have had very few health issues. In Irish Setter breeding, we have produced Best In Specialty winners.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Irish Setter puppies are mahogany. Cocker Spaniel puppies include buff, black and tan, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
