Meet the breeder

I'm Stacey W., the breeder behind Australian Shepherds of 3/W Farms located in Troy, SC. We are very passionate about our program and want to set you up for a healthy pup and adult dog. It all begins in the careful selection of studying our adult dogs temperament, lineage and genetic health testing and confirmation before even breeding them and our success shows through our pups!

Q. & A. with Stacey

  • Why did you start breeding?

Both my Husband and I were raised on a Farm with Aussies and we meet at a horse show through our Aussies. When we got married we continued to raise them and now our Daughter and Son-In-Law have built their home on our Farm and share the same passion. Aussies are just an incredible breed and as long as we have been in it they never cease to amaze us, the most loyal, loving devoted breed ever!
  • What makes your program special?

Our animals are like family to us. They get top of the line care such as free choice of Purina Pro Plan, baths, personal time, and lots of love. We enjoy letting our dogs work with us on the farm, travel, and camp at horse shows. Our dams get supplemented pre and post pregnancy on a daily basis and retired at an early age of 4. It is important to us to give back to our animals!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Australian Shepherd puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

We encourage you to scroll to the end of each group of pictures on each pup so that you can watch all the videos. ”

Stacey was so easy to work with. Knowledgeable about the breed and sends you home with everything you need! She followed up after pick up and even answered questions when my puppy was having some stomach issues. Would 100% recommend.

3/W Farms gave us the most amazing puppy. We were searching for a service dog candidate for my daughter and found a video of the most precious little bean. We hoped he was as amazing as the videos showed but nothing could have prepared us for him to be even more amazing than we ever could have dreamed. From the moment we picked him up at the most beautiful farm and he ran to my daughter and sat calmly cuddling in her lap, we knew we had made the right choice. We are almost a month in and he is the calmest, sweetest, most even tempered dog we have ever known. He is in perfect health and immediately acclimated to traveling with us everywhere and ingratiating himself with our two crazy dogs and 2 very opinionated cats. He is my daughter’s constant companion and goes everywhere with us calmly waiting by her side no matter where we are or how many people and animals are around. He brings joy to everyone he meets and our trainer said she has never met a dog who was already chill with all the things at his age and able to sit, stay, and relax as well as fully potty trained at 10 weeks. Words cannot express how thankful we are to have found 3/W Farms and Stacey. Our family finally feels complete:)

Only recently did we explore online the platform ‘Good Dog’, looking for a puppy and checking out different breeders. We came across a gorgeous new litter of Australian Shepherds and immediately fell in love with one puppy in particular. The platform allowed me to easily chat with the breeder to receive all information I wanted. Stacey, the owner of Australian Shepherds of 3/W Farms answered all my questions and sent me a link to their website so I could check it out. She also send me a video where she guides my favorite puppy in their wide open grass field at their farm. Stacey’s voice is calm and confident. I saw right away that she is a very professional trainer. We were convinced about the quality of the breeding farm and made the deposit the next day. Soon the puppy would come home! I was a bit worried about transporting the puppy to California at the other side of the US but Stacey brought me in contact with her flight nanny who in turn contacted me and came over as a very lovely and caring person. The nanny flew over the puppy to us and we met at the airport nearby. I could tell that the puppy had been traveling in comfort and with the best companion. We also received a puppy bag full of toys and her portfolio with all important information on the puppy such as vaccine and health record, training schedule, do’s and don’ts, extra food that the puppy is used to, and lots of useful tips. It has now been one week since our puppy came home. The transition from the litter to her new family went smoothly. The breeder prepares the puppies for transition to a new home. From the moment the puppy came home she almost slept through the night. Besides being adorable she is learning commands fast. I definitely recommend Australian Shepherds of 3/W Farms. Breeding Aussies is their life! They are trustworthy and raise their dogs in a beautiful farm where the puppies are being socialized not only with the family but also with their horses and cats. Because Aussies are high energy working dogs, the breeder trains and challenges the puppies with enough physical exercise and mental stimulation. The breeder has a beautiful huge grass field where the dogs can run, play and learn. We are very grateful to have found a breeder like Stacey and her husband, who run the farm together with their son and daughter in law. Thank you for this wonderful puppy❣️

Stacey (and Terri) were absolutely amazing! My fiance and I were looking for a Blue Merle Australian Sheperd for a few months and actually had one lined up and paid for through another breeder, but that puppy ended up getting parvo and we were unable to get that puppy anymore 😢. We were absolutely heartbroken and were extensively looking to fill that empty space in our family when we stumbled across Australian Sheperds of 3/W Farms. Within less than a week I had spoken to Stacey on the phone, and had already made arrangements with her and Terri in order for our furever baby to get on a flight all the way to New York! Stacey and Terri were very responsive and answered any and all questions that we had and made the process as easy and simple as possible! We couldn't be any happier with the experience and with our fur baby Benji! We are already looking forward to dealing with Stacey (and Terri) again in the future!

Stacey was awesome and very responsive and prepared us for our new little puppy. Stacey was accommodating to the pick up date. Provided us with a binder with all important information to share with our vet and the to go bag with water and food bowels, food, toys and a blanket of him and litter mates. Reggie is healthy and happy. He is also making our older babies more active and welcomed him into their pack.

This was my first experience with any breeder as I’ve always rescued my dogs previously, and I must say that Stacey was amazing. Always understanding and accommodating to my questions, concerns, and especially to my request for a meet and greet…it was wonderful! My Aussiedoodle, Hildie, is so sweet! Of course she’s in her “puppy stage” but I’ve had little-to-no issues with house-training, including sleeping in her crate. Hildie’s appetite is great and I’ve had no health concerns to date. Hildie is growing fast too! In the three weeks I’ve had her, Hildie has been a welcome addition to my life and I’m so grateful to Stacey for all she’s done to prepare me and my household.
