Meet the breeder

I'm Cody C., the breeder behind Australian Shepherds of C4 and 3/W Farms located in Callison, SC. I'm passionate about breeding with a purpose for health, temperature, and looks! We are very selective of our program! My Aussies are raised alongside our 3 year old son and 2 year old daughter and endure tons of socialization on our horse farm. Our dogs get to roam on 30 acres and are able to stay in our home with us- our Aussies are bred for temperament and very selective of the purposes of breeding!

Q. & A. with Cody

  • Why did you start breeding?

My wife and I got our first dog together, 6 years ago! Her name is Lily- she is now retired and living her best life. However, we had a few litters from her and quickly had many friends and family adore the breed! I put a lot of time socializing, caring, and working with our pups we quickly grew as each litter transitioned with ease. I work alongside with my wife that is apart of 3/W Farms
  • What makes your program special?

I do not just breed to breed! We spend months and years to build up our program to make sure they fit our guidelines! I work closely with our vets to ensure a healthy program and do not force any of our dogs to breed if it is not fit for them. I believe strongly in selective breeding as the "Apple doesn't fall far from the tree!"
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Aussiedoodle puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Australian Shepherd puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I couldn’t recommend working with Cody and Lana at C4 and 3/W farms. They were supportive every step of them way from sharing the personalities of the puppies as they grow to the transparency of the parental genetic testing. They are the true standard of an ethical breeder that truly cares about the breed. Since bringing Dax (aka Rocky) home they have been there to support me in any way possible. I am so glad Good Dog led me to their farm and I am so blessed to have added Dax to my family. I couldn’t recommend them enough from the customer service to true breed standard AKC dogs.

Working with Cody & Team was a great experience. From the moment we selected our puppies we received all support possible before picking them up. They were responsive to texts and questions, and flexible in accommodating our needs. During and after pick up they were very eager to help us prepare and adapt the puppies in our home. I highly recommend them as your Aussie breeder, they have decades of experience and love their Aussies! Thank you so much!

We had a great experience! Very responsive and professional. We felt like we were in good hands from the very beginning. I really appreciated the follow up after we had taken our new puppy home. You can tell they really care about what they do. I would absolutely recommend them. We couldn’t be happier with the new addition to our family. We brought a dog trainer in the first week and he was very impressed and bragged on her having such good genetics!

Cody & Lana were absolutely wonderful to work with from day one. They video called us so we could meet Rodeo, kept us up to date every step of the way, and delivered Rodeo to us with a huge bag full of puppy gear & his personal health binder. Rodeo is a DREAM PUP. Super healthy & full of personality. He is well bred and it shows. We highly recommend getting your next pup from Cody & Lana.
