Meet the breeder

I'm Annette D., the breeder behind Avalon Pomeranians located in Pocatello, ID. Since 1992, Avalon Pomeranians has been breeding quality Pomeranians. We offer well-bred, sweet tempered puppies for companion, showing, and breeding.

Q. & A. with Annette

  • Why did you start breeding?

Since I was a child I wanted a Pomeranian. Once I was finally able to get a Pom as a young adult, I wanted to continue to improve bloodlines to offer others the joy of owning a quality Pom.
  • What makes your program special?

We are working to preserve the best bloodlines, and all of our puppies come from top winning show lines. Our goal is to achieve Pomeranians of excellent quality, type and temperament that make loving, enduring companions. We raise our puppies with lots of love and attention, and put a special emphasis on socialization.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red, orange, cream, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
