Why did you start breeding?
The two last dogs that were purchased as pets, were also purchased with the intent to breed. There are not many Shiba Inu breeders in the mid-west and the Paquette's are most interested in helping expand the breed to responsible, caring, and loving families within the area.What makes your program special?
All dogs and puppies live an active life within the Paquette household as members of the family. All dogs are given a nutrient rich diet, play with toys that stimulate the brain & hone cognitive abilities, begin standard training, and are exposed to children and other types of animals.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, red, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Amanda
Amanda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,600 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes first round of vaccinations, deworming, and socialization programs Microchipping is an optional addition that can be discussed at time of purchase. The deposit acts as a place holder to secure your spot for a puppy. This may apply to current or future litters, as defined between you and the breeder.”
Contract & health guarantee
Amanda may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Program update on 14 Oct. •…🐕 PUPdate! Mr. Bruce went home earlier this year and has turned into quite the heart breaker. Now named Bishop, he enjoys his days looking out the window of his high rise Chicago apartment, while his dad works from home.

Program update on 28 Sept. •…This is Bianca. She is currently 9 months old. Her new family says she is very playful, intelligent, and a true shiba in all the best ways! Bianca is medium in stature like her dad, and has her mom’s personality. This particular pup gets to travel the US, as her new family are pilots. So she spends her days sunbathing on the tarmac, but she certainly isn’t getting any darker. 😉

About Kiko
Kiko is a gentle and kind lady. She likes to cuddle on your lap and has the stereotypical airplane ears when excited. She was chosen for our breeding program because of her wit, charm, and perfect foxy build.

A lover and picture perfect shiba, Katsu has a playful and obedient nature. He was selected to breed in our program because of his physical build and emotional intelligence.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
